Venting is good for the soul and a counselor can really help us put things into perspective and learn how to manage our emotions in a positive and healthy way.

Anger and aggression are common emotions that many people struggle to contain. The inability to control angry outburst can affect a variety of relationships in our lives such as - business, family and, friends. We become angry when we feel deceived or frustrated. We become angry when we feel we have been treated unfairly or feel we have been attacked or provoked. An angry response to these situations is perfectly normal and instinctive. However, for some, it can create inappropriate outbursts that can negatively affect important relationships. Anger and aggression counseling can assist us in recognizing triggers and implementing appropriate ways to deal with how we respond. When we learn how to recognize warning signs of outbursts, we can learn to express these volatile emotions in a more controlled manner.
